Safety & Conditions

Of course! When it comes to Bali, we always ensure that the surf lesson locations are safe for beginners, have soft waves, and provide professional supervision. These conditions are especially present at Kuta Beach, which has a sandy bottom with no reef, making it ideal and safe for beginner surfers.

The team selects the surf locations where beginners or intermediates can surf. This is based on the safety and quality of the surf conditions on that day. The choice of surf location makes a huge difference in the learning experience.

As an advanced surfer, you can choose a surf location. Since you’re on a surf tour, we will adjust based on the conditions and your skill level. You can check surf tour here https://stokedsurfbali.com/surf-tour/.

Learning involves falling. The instructors will guide you safely through this.

The dry season (April–October) will give you more days of consistent surf on the west coast.

For the safety and comfort of all participants, lessons may be rescheduled or relocated.

As with any sport, there are risks, but your safety is our utmost concern.

During monsoon season, the rain will usually come in the late afternoon. Kuta may not have the best surf that day, but we can go to Nusa Dua where the conditions are great. Our team determines the safest and best locations to surf based on the conditions. Surfing is possible in Bali year-round.
