Our surf lessons run for 2.5 hours and are tailored to your ability and experience level. Our qualified instructors focus on building your confidence, getting you up and riding quickly, and most importantly—making sure you have fun along the way.

Group lessons are ideal for beginners and those with little surfing experience. We also offer kids lessons (ages 6–15) and family lessons for up to four people, making it easy for everyone to enjoy surfing together.

For intermediate surfers looking to progress, we offer advanced coaching sessions with our senior instructors. You’ll be guided to the best waves for your level—whether beach breaks or reef breaks—and receive expert coaching to help refine your technique. Video analysis is also available to accelerate your improvement.

Children as young as 4 years old can enjoy learning to surf in the right conditions with proper supervision.

To ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience, we provide two instructors for kids and family lessons. For children under 8 years of age, we generally recommend a 1:1 instructor-to-student ratio, depending on surf conditions.

Based on the child’s age and the conditions on the day, this may involve taking turns in the water and/or having a parent assist with supervision.

Location

Our surf lessons are usually held at the iconic Kuta Beach—one of Bali’s best locations for beginner to intermediate surfers.

To ensure you always get the best possible learning conditions, we monitor surf, wind and beach conditions daily. During Bali’s wet season (December to March), if conditions at Kuta are not ideal, we’ll take you to a cleaner, more suitable beach on Bali’s east coast, such as Nusa Dua or Sanur.

This flexibility allows us to provide safer, more comfortable lessons and a better overall experience—rather than simply staying in less-than-ideal conditions.

A small transport surcharge of US$18 may apply on these days to cover return transfers to the alternate location.

We’ll always advise you in advance if a location change is planned.
